How does the dlink router share the printer with windows computers?  I
would at the settings under windows first, and then we can figure out
how to get it to work with linux.  Just the ip address is not enough.
There is ipp (port 631), samba (aka windows networking) are  two options
for connecting to a remote printer queue.  The D-Link documentation may
also be your friend here.

cups supports just about every imaginable method for connecting to a
printer, but you will likely need more info to be able to set this up
properly.
