OK, the samba daemons are running! Now let's test the networking
subsystem. Can you ping the server from localhost, by IP address, by
server name, i.e.

At the server, do:              $ ping 127.0.0.1        
At a network client do:         $ ping xxx.yyy.zzz.uuu
At the same network client, do: $ ping <your-server-name-here>

Everything working here too?
