I'm on MSN and sometimes on Google Talk. I used to use ICQ, and wish I still did, unfortunately it seems that just about everybody I know is on MSN only... I do use GAIM for both, however. MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Google Talk: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To sign up for MSN, you can go to this page: http://messenger.msn.com/Download/ Click on the "Go" button under "New MSN User" Keep the selection "Yes, use my e-mail address" and go to the next page. Use whatever email address you have (doesn't have to be a microsoft address.) Enter in your information for the next couple of pages until you're done. If you use GAIM already, just go to the accounts window (CTRL + A) and click on "Add" Choose the protocol: "MSN" Screen name: Your email address Password: uh, your password... Alias: Leave blank if you want Then click "Save" and you're on your way. To get on Google Talk, go to: http://www.google.com/talk/ You will probably need a gmail (or googlemail in europe) account to use it though. -Mark _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
