You can not run native X11 applications in windows. ssh -X is X11
forwarding ... it sends the X11 calls to your locally running Xserver. You
don't have one one windows.
I'm not sure if it will work with some kind of emulator like eXceed or not ...
but I doubt it.
PuTTY is not the way to run KMail on windows ;-)
