I've been using OpenSUSE 10.0 for awhile now, and I've had no stability problems with it. I would not give away a release candidate because it may still have bugs in it, and updates usually won't be released for release candidates. The last thing we want to do is give someone a system that may turn out to have a serious security vulnerability in a few months, and a user who doesn't know about/doesn't know how to upgrade to the final release.
