No. The apache user account usually won't have a shell associated with it which effectively prevents logon to the system. Go ahead and try logging on with this account - if you get a shell prompt, you have a problem that needs to be fixed before you let the Internet have access to your server. Not to mention the account is a 'service' account - it's sole purpose in life is to control the Apache web service. You should NOT use a service account for any other reason.
