Just a suggestion for future purchases...or to others. Take a Live CD with you to Staples or whereever and ask to try before you buy. That way you don't have to screw around with having to purchase it then take it home then try it then return it then start the search all over again. Another idea is to do the research before hand and see if others have had any luck with Linux & the technology you are looking at. ALso...while you are at the Staples or whereever, take a couple Ubuntu or other free disks and offer them to the managers or staff. That way if someone else comes in with a similar question or they just want to try linux, then they have one. I actually had a chance to do that with a person from Dell today... they are opening a retail kiosk in Chinook & Market Mall & are pimping for staff. I asked a lot of questiosn about Dell & Linux... they of course only pimp windws but I do have that persons permission to send them some linux info....hehehe Cameron _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
