Actually there are tons of experimental things in horde besides Kolab 
integration ... there are lots of new features, and growing code ...

Depending on what process you decide upon ... it's no harder to setup and 
configure Horde on another box as opposed to the same box as Kolab.  

If you are setting up the CVS version with MySQL running with the OpenPKG 
packages for PHP and MySQL and have to recompile Kolab, and on and on ... yes 
I see more work ... I however never use MySQL or use the Kolab's web server 
to run Horde ... for those very reasons.

I have a treat for everyone shortly that will lessen the hoops.  More on that 
later though.
