-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have the Dell Inspiron 9400 running flawlessly (OK, sporadic resume, but that's pretty much par for the course for most laptops). I'm not sure what your price range is, but I got it for $1600 delivered. The Intel 3945 worked as soon as I did a dist-update. The ATI drivers caused me a few problems, it once I had the right drivers (the OS ones didn't work).
I have a little video of it running and links to the ATI drivers and info on how to get the media keys working on the Linux Learning Stations: http://learning.linuxworldnet.com/dell-inspiron-9400-running-kubuntu/ HTH J Robert Lewko wrote: > Guys, I am looking for a laptop that is compatible with linux and in > particular I need wireless networking, hopefully out of the box I am > looking at the Acer Aspire 5502ZWXMi from memoryexpress.
