As there were some rumblings from some trolls (lol) on the list earlier about some coolness for Kolab + Horde that I had in my treasure chest. I'm happy to say that I have bundled a version of the suite which can be found here : http://kolab.bddf.ca/horde_install.tar.gz It works for an installation outside of the Kolab installation using Apache and PostgreSQL. It assumes you have working installations of those with PHP support and PEAR. It can install the needed PEAR modules, download and unpack Horde, create and configure the DB, create the VFS needed for Horde, and install the custom hooks, and fixes needed for Horde to work with Kolab. It is setup to work with an (k)ubuntu based system. There may be some slight tweaking needed for other distributions. mostly just values for binaries, and system users / groups.
