I have a Netgear MA301 (I think) which is Prism Based (so can be a AP too). This card is quite old, probably around 5 years but works well. Only 802.11b though. lspci shows --- 0000:00:0e.0 Network controller: Intersil Corporation Prism 2.5 Wavelan chipset (rev 01) --- The cheapest one at Memory Express (D-Link DWL-G510 $50) appears to have Linux support.
