I would agree with Roy's general sentiment that we should be starting to
think about this sooner than later.

I felt that the 2K6 was arranged a bit late... although since I wasn't
directly involved with organisation prehaps it's not really my place to
comment.


I think that the 2K7 fest would be better served if 'we' could get the
programme confirmed at least 2 months ahead, and by that I mean 'fixed'
with confirmed speakers.

We need to be able to plug the event continuously from around Jan/Feb 
to get the maximum turn out. Being 'last minute' increases the stress
and makes the event look amerturish.

Here's hoping for a 'cracking good' event next year,
