Hi All :

I can't get my head around this ftp problem I have.
Got a SuSE 10.1 with vsftpd setup on a box called orion
Opened up ports 21 & 20

Tested accessibility from a Solaris box and all is fine.

On another SuSE 10.1 box (same subnet 10.10.20.0/24)
running the 64bit version of SuSE
I get this after a succesful login:

230 Login successful.
Remote system type is UNIX.
Using binary mode to transfer files.
ftp> cd suse10.1
250 Directory successfully changed.
ftp> dir
200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.

And the session locks up...

Using the Solaris box I see the contents of the directory and I am able to
cd into other subdirectories without a problem.

Any advise?

Peter
