Just a stab in the dark and may be completely out in left field. Is it possible to create a bash script that can run under sudo, but would be able to run as the user then run the second portion as root. My thinking is similar to a console in which you are logged in as root, but you can su user and run as that user. Just a thought. -- Neil Bower CLUG - http://clug.ca Registered Linux User # 323470 ( http://counter.li.org ) _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
