Hi guys'n'gals, I recently found myself in need of a new IP address. I've tried everything I can think of (power cycling, leaving hardware unplugged all night even), but most of these are M$ solutions.
Does anyone have any ideas? I've followed my ISP's How-To ( http://help.3web.com/3webinternetaccess/3webMenu.jsp?page=releaserenewip ) for getting a new address, but it didn't work. I have a cable modem going to the DI-524 router with 1 desktop and a laptop connected to it. Running Ubuntu 6.06 on desktop, Mac OS X on lap top.
