I use Canreg. They have a good interface but are expensive at $30/year. You
can indeed transfer registrars as long as the domain is more than 60 days old
and has more than 30 days left before it expires. Or at least those are the
.com rules.

Subject: [clug-talk] domain name registration

Like anything else, you get what you pay for. I have several domain
names, some .com and some .ca -- I have found that Network Solutions is
not the cheapest but editing the DNS records is in your control and a
breeze. However, they don't handle .ca -- as a result I have dealt with
other vendors, some who have limited or no interface to edit the DNS
records and you have to resort to phone calls or emails for change requests.

My questions is two-fold:
1 is anyone aware of a domain registration vendor that handles .ca
and has a good interface
2 are you able to change midstream to another vendor?
