Hi all, I have a weird problem. I am attempting to get a PCI wireless card working in an older machine (Compaq Deskpro 4000, sub-desktop with 1 shared PCI/ISA slot).
The wireless card is simply not seen/detected by the system, it fails to show up in 'lspci'. I am confident that the card functions (does in another machine) and the slot functions for another card. I am stumped, so any comments would be welcome. Simon. More details.... With 'working card' (ethernet in 00:0c.0) --- [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lspci 0000:00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc.
