Hi all, I'm considering volunteering some of my time with ERA (http://www.era.ca/) here in Calgary. I was wondering if any of you have worked with them at all? Heard anything good or bad?
Are there any other organizations like this in town that put Linux on donated PCs? Do you think there is a need from low-income families for refurbished PCs or does the free access at Calgary libraries cover it? Also, is anyone setting up low-cost/free wifi in Calgary at all? This project in San Francisco looked interesting. http://www.wired.com/politics/onlinerights/news/2007/04/wifiproject_0403 Thanks in advance, Guy _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
