When I was working at the Calgary Drop-In Center, ERA donated some
equipment. I haven't worked there for 2 years, so I'm not sure what
the relationship between the two is now. My experience with them was
positive.

The ERA has a list on their website of who they donate machines to:

When I was working at the Drop-In, I worked on the "Computers for Low
Income Calgarians" (CLIC) program for about half the time I was there.
I believe it is still around, and if so, they are probably still
looking for used computers (to run Win2k and maybe still '98? They
may even be looking for volunteers to do installs, but I'm not
sure...) No Linux boxes, which has been discussed already on this
list.
