I did like the dual shorties presentations with similar or related subjects, a bit more time management would be useful, but nevertheless , i think many people liked the idea. Including me :-)
In regard to a bit more networking fundamentals, this is a subject that will concern any computer user that has more than one computer to deal with, regardless of Os... So it could easily represent the subject of a workshop, or a dedicated mini presentation , to give a decent idea, of how to build a home / soho network and configure networking parameters and maybe go into the area of network fault detection and even a bit into fixing these faults. And would , i think tie in well with some network related software or hardware presentation to satisfy the cravings of more advanced users. Also, and maybe more appropriate for workshops, subjects like dns, mail, web, ftp, ssh, ldap, nfs, smb, and many other network related services can be visited in a series of presentations, workshops or both ... Now that done, i would like to see some movements in the areas of HA/HP. Things like drbd and bonding and hearbeat. It would be so nice to have a good workshop or presentation on them, even maybe a cluster workshop ...
