Shortly after I sent my first message I found the hardware manual. I did try a few things in ot bt nothing seemed to work. I will have to revisit tomorrow or something. I did try and google some other sources, but it ranges from hacking it thru a homemade serial patch kit to a boot cd to call ibm to basically saying "screw it" What did make sense with the power on password was how you are supposed to power it up and let it run thru post when the battery and backup battery are removed. Befiore anyones say that ac cord....well them kind of defeats the purose or removing the batteries.... _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
