Upon pondering on Drupal some more, I decided to give it a shot (the new version) and install it on my own server.
I guess I really shouldn't voice my dislike of something until I've given it a fair chance. The new version is actually one of the most flexible CMS's I've seen, and looks very stable. I guess its just the old version on CLUG (and the theme [which seems old and outdated]). My bad.
