I've had good luck as long as the NICs are not Broadcom. Every single
Tyan board I've ever used that has a Broadcom chip for the NIC exhibits
random freezing and other unpleasantness as long as the NIC is
operating. Add-in Intel NICs or even onboard Intel NICs don't seem to
have that problem. Essentially, as long as the Broadcom NIC is not
operating, the systems have been stable.

All that said, from what I could gather after a quick scan of the specs
on the specified board is that the NICs on that board are Intel chips
which would not run into the problem I mentioned.
