Only messages from non-registered emails get held for moderation. So unless you are sending messages to the list from an unregistered e-mail address, then your message should get through.
As far as email getting through to the mailing list daemon, is our hosting provider screening emails for spam (and using an RBL) that are destined to the mailing lists addresses or is anyone with a registered email address to the mailing list already whitelisted?
