LinuxFest last year was so much fun, we're doing it again! This year, we have changed the name in the hope of being more inclusive of ALL open source projects. It was felt that LinuxFest implied Linux related things only.
We have a few speakers lined up, and things are moving fast. Keep an eye on the website (http://www.cossfest.ca) for the latest news. Or ask Kin, John, Szemir, or myself for the cutting edge gossip.. er, news.... We invite everyone to attend. We would also like to ask the CLUG members if they have any ideas regarding sponsors or speakers. If you have specific leads, please pass them on to us. Speaker tips can be sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED], and Sponsor tips to [EMAIL PROTECTED] COSSFEST will take place on 27 Oct 2007 from 10:00am to 5:30pm, and is being hosted by SAIT. The planning team includes members from CLUG, CUUG, the Calgary Open Source Group, and SAIT. We are expecting approx 400 to 600 people at this year's event.
