I would be interested in any insights on the following:
I am setting up a new GIT repository on my home server, and will shortly be doing the same at the office. I am unsure as to where would be the best place to put the repository from a standard Linux file structure point of view. Where would one normally expect to find a shared repository like this? All users should have access to this as starting point, I am thinking initially perhaps /usr/git-repos or /usr/share/git-repos... What do the guru's think?
