I am running zabbix_clientd on a bunch of servers and they all show the following on each SMTP check with sendmail running
Oct 22 19:26:23 gateway sendmail[21366]: l9N2QNTk021366: localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA And the servers with dovecot running also show these on each check: Oct 22 19:27:20 gateway dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected: rip=::ffff:127.0.0.1, lip=::ffff:127.0.0.1, secured Oct 22 19:27:21 gateway dovecot: pop3-login: Disconnected: rip=::ffff:127.0.0.1, lip=::ffff:127.0.0.1, secured Does anyone know how I can stop these errors from filling my logs? I have also posted to the zabbix forums, but they are not very active.
