Hi Folks, I want to scan about 4000 35mm slides onto my HD. The photography folks seem to favour Nikon scanners: e.g. Nikon CoolScan V ED. However, SANE reports that this scanner has minimal Linux support so I'm hesitant about spending $600, or so, on it.
Has anyone any suggestions about scanning slides? Robin
