Well...I figured I might as well make the leap and move my Gmail accounts to IMAP, for the simplicity of being able to grab it from multiple clients and have the changes propagate pretty much immediately.
First off, I am using Thunderbird as the primary client & then maybe try others from there, but I have a couple questions that I could use some help on: 1) I have multiple Gmail accounts all going in to the Local Folders in TB & then using the message rules to sort them as they come in. I do have some duplicate accounts in shaw & would like to have a message that comes in from the shaw account & have it move into the Gmail folder, but so far it doesn't seem to work. I am wondering if this is even possible? Another option I thought off here was to have Gmail collect it from shaw. 2) Is there any way to have multiple IMAP accounts appear under the Local Folders & have them share common mailbox folders. I know with pop accounts you can switch it to be a global inbox & then adjust settings there, but so far I have found it. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
