Here is the content of the email for those that want additional information: “Let’s make this Christmas free from Hunger.” Citytv’s 11th Annual Fame for Food Saturday, December 1st Thank you for your generous support in the past of this event! Last year we raised over $ 265,000 dollars! This year, Citytv, CJAY 92 VIBE 98.5 and Classic Country AM 1060 will be at two Sobeys locations: Sobeys Tuscany Sobeys Forest Lawn Saturday, December 1st----- from Noon- 6 p.m. We would like to register your organization for the 2007 Fame for Food campaign. Again we are asking that your staff or group membership work on an internal food drive and then bring the non-perishable food items to one of one of the two Sobeys Fame for Food locations on December 1st. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this unique event and anyone who makes donations of non-perishable food items or cash will have the opportunity to record a television holiday greeting which will be aired throughout the holiday season on Citytv or at citytv.com Cash is also encouraged. For every $ 1 dollar donated the Food bank can purchase $3 dollars worth of food. Tax receipts will be issued for cash donations. Groups and businesses wanting to participate must register with Citytv ahead of time. To register your company or group, visit www.citytv.com after November 1st and click on Calgary and Fame for Food. Posters will be mailed to you if you request that.
