A new report claims that Asustek is well on its way to selling one
million Eee PCs by the end of the first quarter 2008. Considering how
well they have been selling so far, a million units seems easily
attainable.
Asustek Computer has recently placed emergency orders with its
component suppliers for its Eee PC shipments in January and the company
expects shipments for the month may reach 300,000 units, while the
number could reach one million units for the first quarter of 2008,
according to a Chinese-language Apple Daily report.
