I am pretty sure this exists somewhere, but I have not been able to find it as of yet.
I would like my 3E-PC to boot into the full desktop mode by default but not sure how to do that. Anyone come across it? Also, I would like to install additional software (i.e. GIMP, etc.) that may not be approved and available in asus's repositories. Am I correct that all I would need to do is to add say a debian or ubuntu respository to the sources file to get the programs I am looking for? I have tried this a while back, but I seem to remember experiencing errors in doing so...and because of my brain fartiness...I can't recall the errors. I would imagine they have something to do with permissions.
