If you want an industrial strength email server try Scalix. I was a user of it when it was called HP Openmail and ran the email for 40,000+ employees of HP very well. It has since been divested and turned into an opensource email system. I installed it once in anticipation of some work involving it, and it didn't seem too hard to get it up to do basic things. I can't say if it meets all your requirements but there is lots of info at their website http://www.scalix.com/ .
