        Thanks for the recommendation. I was searching the WEB for something 
like that, 
but didn't find anything free. In WinXP I use  Core FTP Lite, which is an 
excellent program. Easy to use and allows me to edit online files. Mandriva has 
two programs for file transfer, but they are not suitable for such purpose. JSz.
