Hi gang. A friend of mine is putting together an event for the Canadian Liver Foundation. This sounds like a fun way to raise some cash for a good charity. Here's the details:

On September 13, 2008 at 6 p.m., 400 guests will walk the Red Carpet at Zsa Zsa's Supper Club in downtown Calgary to be greeted by the enthusiastic paparazzi for the Live'r Up! Talent Show. As they walk in, they will be photographed, quickly interviewed and gushed over as they enter Zsa Zsa's, which just had a classy, contemporary half million dollar renovation. At 7 p.m. sharp, what guests will experience when they walk in, is a celebrity judged, Canadian Idol-type talent show. Auditions are being held in August, and the 8 BEST variety talent will be performing at this show, to be crowed the winner by the audience in this high-energy event. Louis B. Hobson of the Calgary Sun, Jeff Buick, Best time New York Selling author, and Jeff Hill, the heart throb of Fit Start will be providing commentary after each act, and the guests will vote by ballot at the end of the show. After 2 hours of top notch local entertainment, the guests will enjoy appetizers, dancing, small business exhibits, and hob-nobbing and networking with the other guests.
