Hi Folks, The teenager down the street has asked me to help him install Linux on his Dell laptop. Is there an Install Fest coming up soon that I could bring him to?
If no Install Fest is planned for the near future I would try to help him on my own. I guess Kubuntu would be the best distro to use. Are there any pitfalls to beware of in installing Kubuntu, or other distros (Debian, Mandriva, etc), on a Dell laptop? Robin Carter
