Has anyone done this or looked into it? I want to get an idea what equipment I would need and what software is out there. I would like to have a few touch screen displays throughout my house that can be used to control thermostat, select music, see security cameras and control lights with something like X10, tie into the Asterisk system and check phone messages all that fun stuff.
I found lots of wall mount touch screen computes but they all come with some proprietary software and cost way more then they really should. I want to use some Linux GUI kind of like MythTV to control these features and be able to custom program it. -- http://www.Radados.org
