Routers don't really matter, if the client adaptor is supported you
should be good to go.

One thing, the 2.4 Ghz spectrum is pretty crowded these days.  I would
look at a router that does dual band (2.4 and 5 Ghz).  Most "N" routers
don't do 5Ghz even though it is a part of the spec.  Right now I am
using 802.11a on all my machines.
