You got G adapters now... but before this router goes out of service you
will, no doubt, upgrade one or more of them to N band.  So spend the
extra 20 bucks for an N band router.  N is a lot better for low latency
high bandwidth things like remote desktop and games.
I use a dlink with a combination of Mac, XP and Linux.  Though I must
say it does not work with my daughter's old Toshba Satelite A70... so I
got TWO routers!
