What distro are you trying? If it's ubuntu, you might want to consider trying the 9.04 Beta of their Netbook distribution. http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/jaunty/beta Or you can wait for the Release later this month. Right now I'm running ubuntu 8.10 with a custom EeePC Kernel on my 1000H.
