Second, creating a UI that does what one expects is a devilishly simple sounding concept. It may seem like a good idea, but I guarantee that you and I expect different things from a UI. I once worked on a project where one user's feed back said that the UI should be more intuitive, like a spreadsheet. I am not making this up. Of course he or she was an engineer, but it should make it clear that getting a UI to do what one expects is a lot harder than it seems, or else we would have it already. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkpAe2AACgkQwRXgH3rKGfOsIwCeP2BKaNZjI2JU/IFwsbZMGsuW xdUAoICMucQbbUsxCpbtHxMHrZGDi7sr =h5rU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
