I'm curious because I have been using Slackware for a couple of years (Maybe because I wanted to learn Linux, and curious because I heard about Slackware). I like Slackware, but I wish it would have a way to resolve dependencies. Some say that a Package manager that resolves dependencies can be a problem (any comments?) I would also like to try out some other distros. What other distros would you recommend. What are the similarities and differences to Slackware?
