I've got the following setup for TV in my home. I hope you can see the flowchart. The smaller TV and PVR are upstairs and the other is downstairs about 20 feet direct line away. I don't want to drill holes in floors and walls so I'm looking for a wireless solution. I'd like to be able to see shows off the PVR and even off the WD HD device on the TV downstairs. I'd also like it to be independent of what is being watched or recorded upstairs.
I've searched Google and found devices from under $50 to over $1,000. I think I am correct that all the wireless media devices are to connect a PC (like a M$ or HP media center) to a TV and not what I want to do. I find the other devices to be really confusing as I'm not a hardware guy. Have any of you guys played with this stuff and do you have any advice to share? PS: the 250Gb drive is USB to the WD HD box. -- from Dick's desk
