Pretty soon we should have this down pat with a few more dry runs at the tail gate thing. I covered the cost of the first event with smokies (note to self - don't get the cheese ones and if you do, remember to bring utensil to poke holes in them, bring tongs if you don't want burnt fingers, bring knife to the buns and scoring the sausages). Dafydd agreed on CLUG covering the cost on the second event. The chicken seemed to go well (note to self, bring the season salt). As you can see, eventually we will get it right.

Thanks to Simon and Graham for bringing stuff for the first event.

Thanks to Graham for the gently reminder and bringing sausage and ice tea.

Quick chat with Dafydd and depending on weather and prep time, tail gate to continue for Sep and Oct and maybe Nov. Would be nice is someone volunteered for a topic so that it could be announce a month ahead of time. If someone commits to a topic, I will commit to a menu in advance.

Thanks to all that participated at the tail gate and at the meeting.

Regards,

Kin

You know, I never even had time to remove the bbq off the back of the truck so it is ready to go as long as I got enough propane in the tank. I was going to pick up some chicken - may still have time.

Kin

Kin said last month that he intended to BBQ again if weather permitted?
