Thanx all for the advice.

Just so I am understanding clearly, with the virtual box I will need to
install a full version of say xp in my current Linux distribution and than
install itunes in the virtual xp?? I believe that this is what it would be.

Or, can I just install itunes in a virtual box alone within my current
Linux distribution??

Dan

+1 to the version that you download directly from Sun/Oracle.

+1 to Amarok. That is what I use with my last remaining Apple device
(an ipod classic). Once it dies I have no plans to ever use an Apple
device ever again. That really does not help you though.

The virtual route is not really all that difficult.
