At last month's clug meeting Dafydd C. handed out a number od dual head graphics cards of which i pickup one, a colorgraphic Predator LT 2.
Has anybody gotten the graphics card to work in dual monitor mode? I am using Ubuntu 10.04 on an DMD Athlon II processor but have gotten nowhere. When I boot up with this card installed I get one monitor correctly displayed (1280-1024) but the other monitor displays text identifying the graphics card and a flashing cursor. I searched the Internet on how to get dual monitor mode to work. These is lots of information available but the information is dependent upon the graphics card used and, unfortunately, none of the information I found was specific to this graphics card. Has anybody had success with Ubuntu and a different dual head graphics card? I have reached the point of simply buying a card rather than trying to get this card to work.
