Hi,

The basis of the story is true but you may want to find alternate
sources ... Fox isn't exactly a bastion of journalistic integrity.

You need to strip the hyperbole and then run whats left through a
bullshit filter.

I don't have time to deconstruct the claims made in the Fox article -
some are completely fabricated and many of the remainder are simply
wrong. These may be more informative:

http://www.langner.com/en/2010/11/14/stuxnet-attacker-profiling/

Symantec has some interesting contributions but they don't explain how
they reached their conclusions as well as Schneier & Langner.

What is 'known' about the worm author(s)? Almost nothing. Analysis of
RE'd code indicates a small team wrote it because there are substantial
differences in the style, sophistication and expertise requirements of
different elements such as the payloads and infection routines.

The source has, and continues to be, analyzed. This had led some to
believe that the infection routines were written by less skilled people
than the payload package which has been described as very sophisticated.

Cheers,
J.J.
