Because that would expose CLUG to legal risk. As an aside, I have a VyperVPN connection as part of my giganews subscription. I pay a little extra to be able to use OpenVPN. I have been quite happy with the service. The cost along with my NNTP subscription is still less than my EC2 bill in month.
