Presuming you want a limited number of complete directory tress, keep it
simple: rsync or scp

you can Google lots of examples

my preference is rsync and save the commands in a script

that way you can later reuse them (or reversed variants) to keep both sides
synchronized.

Is there a simple way to do this. I just want to save a lot of typing.

Thanks,
