Actually tomorrow afternoon there is a bunch of us clutter developers going to a stereo graphics and design workshop so it's on our mind. I actually landed color mask support in cogl yesterday to let me play with simple anaglyph stereo rendering. I think the next challenge is to figure out how the clutter cogl backend can track multiple framebuffers per stage for the left and right eyes, I wonder if we can start of with a minimal api to be able to set a left and right eye projection and modelview transform on a clutter stage and then internally we can figure out how to make that work in the backends without needing to worry about the more elaborate camera apis we have also talked about. Maybe it would enough to start with just this api: clutter_stage_set_left_projection () clutter_stage_set_left_transform () clutter_stage_set_right_projection () clutter_stage_set_right_transform () clutter_stage_set_stereo_enabled () It would be great to have more thought and work going into this stuff, if you are interested in helping that would be great to hear! Kind regards, - Robert P.S my irc nick is rib on #clutter if you want to hassle me there too.
